I want to set up a network to link 2 PC's and enable both
to access Internet via cable broadband connection, and
ultimately to be able to use the "X-box live" service.
Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between a
Router, a Hub and a Switch?

Hi, A router is basiclly somthing that controls the
traffic in your Local area network. Like your network at
home. A hub is centerpoint in your Local area network
connecting 2 or more PC to a network. A switch is the
requipment that establish, monitor and terminats the
connection between other terminals on the internet.
