2 nodes (both xp computers) attached to a cheap unmanaged hub which is then
connected to Rogers Modem.

Both computers can access the internet. Node 2 can access the printer
attached to Node 1. But they cannot see each other. I have shared the C:
drives on both computers but it just wonk work.

Worth noting. Everything was working perfectly until Node 1 installed
Internet Explorer 7.0.

Someone please help.

Hi
If your Rogers Modem is only a Modem (I.e. Not a Modem/Router Combo), you
actually do not have a local Network since both of your computer sit
directly on the Internet.
If this so it is quit dangerous and should get a Cable/DSL Router.
Otherwise id you are on a LAN.
Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings,
http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html
As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what it is
allowed to be shared.

Look at logs from "ipconfig /all", from each computer, and diagnose the problem.
Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions carefully.

There was a problem recently with Internet Explorer, and file sharing.

Are you paying for 2 Internet connections, connecting both computers by a hub,
AND doing file / printer sharing? That's dangerous as hell.

It's been like what?
What hasn't worked since?
What did it do before IE7 that it doesn't do now?
