Home Folder issue

We seem to be having sporadic issues with users mapped drive opening a parent
directory rather than their home folder. All users are set as
\\server\users\username, but occasionally their mapped drive opens
\\server\users.

If there is a solution can someone please share. This is not a big problem
but it does cause confusion among our users and unecessary work for me.

I have seen similar issues on a domain which was setup as Win NT 4 and later
upgraded to Windows Server 2003. I found that because NT 4 required a BAT
script on the user account to map drives, that when upgraded to Windows
Server 2003 these issues started. When I removed the script from the user
account, all map drive connection issues ceased.

If your situation is different, please post your network setup.
