I wanted to insert Home and Previous keys in all pages of a normal word
document with hyperlinks. How to do this?
conceptually, anything that needs to be on every page should be placed
or at least anchored to the Header/Footer areas. Problem: while you are
in Word, you cannot double click directly on anything in the H&F, or
rather: such a click will open the H&F "view", and only then the
hyperlink is really accessible.
In theory, you can place a link in the body text area on every page
(manually, or by VBA maybe), but then you will have a big problem once
your content changes (because pages usually reflow in Word, your links
will all of the sudden not be on the same pages anymore, some pages
might have two and others zero links, etc.
So, tells us more on how you plan this document to be used. If done
right, you can get away with H&F if you convert the document to PDF (no
reflow there, under most all circumstances).
