Hello what is the maximum amount (in Mb) of emails that Outlook 2003 can hold?
Outlook express 6 can hold only some 300 MB effectively.

Thanks for your replies.

OL2003 supports two different Personal Folder Files. I'll break down each
for you.

1) Personal Folders
* 20GB max file size (software limit & can go bigger if needed. also keep
in mind that
drive format plays a huge role in this. eg. FAT32 limits a single
file to 4GB.)
* Unknown item limit per folder
* Earlier versions of Outlook can't read this file

2) Personal Folders - Outlook 97/2002 format
* 2GB max file size (shouldn't push past 1.8 and this is not configurable)
* 65,000 items per folder

Just an observation; With a v.large data file is the amount of data/mail
manageable? I mean can it be usefully used/accessed in a single file?

Depends on the person I suppose. I find that I hover about 500MB of useful
data. Everything else is just cannon fodder and gets purged.
