Hit Counter

I have tried to add in the hit counter from FP 2003 and reset it to the total per my stats, when I do it keeps going to only 1 hit and not what it was at.

Does anyone have a suggestion.

Check your Hit Counter properties and see if you have the reset to 0 button
checked. If so uncheck it.

I have checked and the reset button is not checked. I have tried it with
the button set at a higher figure and also unchecked and it still comes up
with 1 hit when uploaded.

Any additional suggestions.

You have to open the live/remote site directly in FP, then open the _private folder, and right click
on pagename.htm.cnt and open in Notepad, then change the number, but do not change the number
overall digits.
