I stupidly downloaded software that was supposed to block
pop-up ads but it changed the settings on my computer so
that now instead of seeing the sites that were recently
visited, I see a folder called history which then opens
into the index.dat file. I tried to go back and delete
the software that I installed but windows keeps giving me
the message that the software cannot be deleted because
my computer is currently using those files. I thought
that maybe if I force quitted internet explorer I could
delete those files, but I haven't been able to. Anyone
help? Please?
