I've had this problem before, where a message pops up
that will only disappear when you click OK (cancel does
nothing) it then proceeds to change your homepage or add
a link to your favourites - just annoying little java
tricks.
But this time it is impossible to undo. I start internet
explorer and my homepage has been forced to
be "about:blank" which itself has been changed to a
search page on behalf of findemnow.com. I change my
homepage to something else in the options, apply the
settings, restart internet explorer and there you have it
the same damn page again.
I've checked for spyware and adware as well as viruses on
my computer but to no avail so I thought it might be
something in the registry. I change the settings in the
registry to make my homepage Google, I close regedit and
reload it and the setting has been reset to "about:blank"
again.
This is an infuriating problem for me, if anyone can help
I'd be grateful.
