Hiding Thumbnail File Names When Looking in a Folder

I'd like to view a folder with a thumbnail view, but not show the file names
under the file thumbnail. Is that possible?

No way!! This works in reverse, too!!! I hid the filenames in one of my
image directories by accident once, without knowing how I did it. It
was driving me bonkers trying to get the filenames back.

Thank you.
