Hi,
I've seen similar posts but not one that directly answers this
question. I'd like to hide tasks in Outlook by Category. In other
words, I'd like to display tasks that I've assigned to a business
category on the Today page. But, I don't want to see tasks that I've
assigned to a personal category. This is especially of recurring tasks
I have set up (such as get the car inspected every May - you get the
idea). I do want to be reminded of the tasks via the Reminder bar,
just not see them all the time when in Outlook Today mode. Note: not
displaying Outlook Today is not an answer I'm looking for here.
For the tasks that I do want to show up on Outlook Today, I've also
read that some tasks way in advance of their due date. I read that
there is some work around to use a start date, not a due date to avoid
having tasks appear too early. Could someone shed some light on this?
Does this work for recurring tasks, such as writing a monthly business
report?
Thanks in advance
