Hiding/Removing Wireless Network Connection Icon

Is there some way that a user can hide or remove the winxp wireless network
connection icon from the taskbar? This icon has a very annoying way of
generating useless messages that cover up more important messages from the
applications I run such as email status messages. Thanks.

You can also right-click on the icon in your Notification area (it is called
Notification area not Taskbar) and click Status. Then click Properties and
uncheck "Show icon in.......".

If you are not on a Wireless Network then uncheck "Notify me when ........."

If you wish not to use the Wireless Network then you can "disable" it by
right-clicking on icon in "Notification area" and choose Disable.

Hope this help, let us know!
