Hiding columns

I hide several non-consecutive columns in a worksheet
within a macro. I have automatically recorded hiding the
columns, I have typed in instructions to hide the
columns, I have done it in one command, and I have tried
hiding them with separate commands. I end up with the
same results - all columns up to the last mentioned
column on the spreadsheet are hidden. Any suggestions on
why this is happening and a solution?
