HideOE, minimize OE to tray

Not sure this has been posted yet, but I've been using this little program
for some time now, together with OE-quotefix it finetunes OE for my personal
needs.

Ever wanted the ability to hide Outlook Express or to minimize it to the
sytem tray?

Now you can! Hide Outlook Express creates a Tray Icon, and allows you to
show and hide Outlook Express by clicking the icon. It can also be set to
hide Outlook Express when you minimize it.

Compatible with Windows 98/ME/2000/XP

hmmm...traywizard does this for ALL apps, not just OE.
however, I can't find a working link to it right now.

Also I came across problems in the past with minimize-to-tray-progs

I have yet to have a problem with Effective Desktop, and The Wonderful
Icon is entirely problem free no matter what you ask it to do.

Nor me; the main site has vanished. Perhaps they've pulled the plug.

Effective Desktop has become a definte must-have on my system. And as I use
HideOE I have no need for TWI, the rest of the software I use all minimizes
to tray. But I'm pretty sure a lot of people will find the TWI a great
program as it has a lot of features (I used it on my old sytem). You want to
please us with a link :) ?

One problem I have experienced with certain programs when using the
'Minimize to Tray' option in 'The Wonderful Icon', is that the
program's taskbar button is still visible after the program is minimized
to the tray. This always happens with PsPad (a freeware text editor),
and I think also with PINs (password manager program).

Any suggestions or workarounds if you or anyone else has had the same
problem?

Thanks,
Mario

I think that some apps that have their own 'min to tray' option get a
bit upset with TWI. The only one that I can recall having a problem
with was The Bat!
