Hide mouse pointer over movie in slide

I have created a slide show with movies (.mpg). When the movies play the mouse pointer is made visible over the movie. The presentation is automated and unattended and I want to hide the mouse pointer.

I have searched the net without finding a solution. Any help would be appreciated.
