Hide a second HDD from other xphome users

Is there a simple way to hide a second disk drive on a home computer.

I would like to hide the d drive that contains work files from other family
users on a home computer?

If I cannot hide it - is there any way I can lock it so other users cannot
access the disk, but under my profile - I have access

many thanks

Download and install TweakUI:

Microsoft PowerToys for Windows XP (TweakUI)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx

After installing, go to Start > Programs > PowerToys for Windows XP >
TweakUI. Expand 'My Computer', click on 'Drives', then uncheck the
drive you wish to hide.

thanks - but...........

1. It only hids it in my profile not it in everyone else's - I don;t want to
hide it from my self - by everyone else on the machine

2. it only hides it and if you know it is there - you type d: in explorer
and up it comes

I was looking for something that allows me to guard and protect the data
from other users in XP

thanks

if it's xp pro, you can assign security to drives, files and folders if
you're running ntfs instead of fat32.
