"Hidden Fax Window"

IN the process of trying to resolve some networkign
problems, I repeatedly get a system pop-up tellign me
that a "Hidden Fax Window Needs To Close". This occurs
after my network connection hangs (seperate
problem..related?). When the connection hangs, I have to
reboot my system to get it going again. however, when
shutting down, I get the pop-up mentioned above. Does
anyone know what this is? I do have a fax/modem
installed but am not using it. Thanks.

HELP!!

Can you Disabling auto receive and sees if it has any effect? Can you paste
the actual message you are getting?

So...please tell me ...were you ever able to successfully get rid o
"Hidden Fax Window"?....my computer has the same lock -up problems tha
you described.......can you help?????
