HI im sam i buyed a medion vista basic laptop in feb and i have a problem wth
the wireless network i do get on the internet but every so hour my wireless
keeps cutting off and then comes back on i have a Atheros AR5007UG Wireless
Network Adapter and a routor what is speedtouch 576 and im with isp aol
brodaband can u please help me thanks sam

Check the settings of your adapter to make sure it is not set to power down.
Control Panel/Network and Sharing Center/ Connection <View
Status>/Properties/Configure/Power Management

Call the laptop mftr.'s tech support. The laptop mftr., not Microsoft,
is where you get support for your laptop.

how far are you from the wireless router?
the signal may be weak. if so you may need to change the orientation of the
antenna
or use a signal booster.


btw: for correct usage...you should have used he word "bought" instead of
"buyed".
i am not telling you that to be critical as you did very well otherwise...
i'm sure many native speakers do worse <G>

no i right by it and if i go down stairs i still get a gd ranged my wireless
