!HEP! MS Access Icons have replaced all .exe programs

S

I don't know what happened. I downloaded some new icons from
CrystalXP.com to give the Office 2007 suite a new look for the icons.

when I clicked on the access file (ACCICONS) for the shortcut that I
wanted to create, all icons that were of type "Application" have this
stupid Access icon next to them. This does not affect the
functionality of my computer, but it does affect the visuals (I don't
read the descriptions, I look at the icons).

Any help on how to fix this issue, please let me know. System Restore
did not work to a previous time, so don't even recommend it. Thank
you!

It's not a matter of the association of the .exe file extension. All
files open fine within the programs they are supposed to open. I need
a way to restore all original icons for the programs on my PC. Is
there any way?

Try right clicking the on the desktop..properties..desktop tab..customize
desktop button and see if you can change them there.
