Have you ever heard of "annoyances.com"? It's a help &
support site for Microsoft users and like this newsgroup
it's not a company - all info posted is from people who
actually use Microsoft programs. The best part is that
they actually know what they're talking about! (sometimes
too much so - some of the info posted there can get
pretty technical). You can do a search for a particular
problem you're having, or post a query and they will
reply directly to you by email if you so desire. I've
gotten some good advice and solved a couple technical
probs I was having from this site. Sometimes I'll even
just go in and browse the posts - lots of
interesting/helpful stuff you don't even know enough to
ask about.
You might want to try it if you can't find answers
anywhere else.
