Help!!!

I just upgraded my computer from XP w/ office 2000 to Vista w/ office 2007.
I had to recreate my outlook mail account and lost all my email and contacts.
My email is set up through my service providers POP3 account. I logged on
through their web access and they were not there either. Is there any way of
restoring them? I have a folder saved called windows.old from the vista
upgrade but I don't know where they might be located. Any help would be
greatly appreciated!!!!

Did you format your hard drive when Vista was installed? If not, do a
search of your drive for *.pst (make sure you tell it to included hidden
files and folders in the advanced search options). You should find your pst
file (usually called Outlook.pst). You'll likely find more than one--you'll
want the one that's bigger, as that's the one containing your old mail.
Once you find it you can try doing an Import from that PST, though
personally I haven't used Office 2007 yet. :)
