This is the last resort for me before I have to re-install Windows X
and wipe everything in the computer.
Every time I log on I have about five seconds to get into my We
Browser before a Spyware Doctor Live update pop-up ( I downloade
pyware doctor ) freezes everything.
I cannot get into my programs to uninstall Spyware Doctor.
I can't read my emails - in fact the Internet is the only thing I ca
use.
If I attempt to close this everything freezes up again.
When i turn the computer off there's a programme called explorer.ex
which says it is not responding and cannot close.
It sounds to me like a virus yet I have the latest edition of Norto
Anti-Virus ( I cannot get into that on my desktop to find out anything
)
As you can see I'm not very computer literate but is there anythin
anyone can suggest I do.

Boot into XP in Safe Mode and uninstall the program .
Keep pressing F8 during boot then select Safe Mode.
You can also use System Restore to go back to a point before you installed
the program that is causing the problem.
