I am running XP and after I ran the program to clean-up
my HDD`S I found the files below. "ithink" is my user
setting and I cannot access "Local Settings" so I can see
these files and possibly delete as they are taking up a
large portion of my system disc (C:)

14,920 450 MB \Documents and
Settings\ithink\Local Settings\Temp\~PST6779.tmp

1,579 90 MB \Documents and
Settings\ithink\Local Settings\Temp\PKG30D.AVI

While I can't tell you if you should or should not delete these files, you
can access Local Settings by going to Tools | Folder Options | View in
Windows Explorer and setting it to "Show hidden files and folders". That'll
allow you to view them as you wish. If you aren't comfortable with having
all files viewable, however, you might want to switch this back afterwards,
as it is there to prevent the user from accessing and modifying/deleting
necessary system files/folders.

I agree. But since I'm not an expert, just another user that happens to have
some info to pass on, I didn't want anyone coming down on me for giving
"hazardous" advice. Best to just give a friendly warning.
