Help with XP/Pro

I just upgraded my workstation form 2K Professional to XP profesional.

I'd like to know if there is a cd/dvd based tutorial for XP/Pro. I
need the tutorial to include general usage as well as administartive
topics.

One feature I used a lot in win/2K came from office 2K. That was an
icon in the office toolbar that immediately started the screensaver no
matter what delay was programmed. Since office 2007 no longer has the
toolbar, I am hopeful that XP/Pro will allow me to create my own icon
to immediately start the screensaver. Is there a way?

I know how to create an icon to start Windows explorer & to have it
open a specific directory when it starts. But, If I start Windows
Explorer through START -> PROGRAMS -> ACCESSORIES -> WINDOWS EXPLORER,
it always starts in My Documents. Is there a way to change this
default to something I prefer?

I use this feature for every drive I have connected:

edit the target to read:
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e,/n,d:\

change the D:\ to the actual path you want
examples:
C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e,/n,e:\

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e,/n,c:\_Downloads

C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /e,/n,c:\

I use a free utility called Wizmo, from GRC, which can do this among a
host of other useful things:
http://www.grc.com/default.htm

I made an icon for it on the Quick Launch bar so a single click launches
the screensaver immediately.

(It would also work just to drag a screensaver shortcut onto the Quick
Launch, but the advantage to using Wizmo is that it will launch whatever
screensaver you currently have selected; with the other method, you'd
have to change your shortcut whenever you change the saver.)
