Help with WMPlayer 10 & 11

I don't know what happened today, but suddenly, I could get no sound out of
my WM10. It wasn't my speakers or sound connection because I could play
Napster and other things fine. Somewhere along there my Norton detected a
security risk and removed some ADware. I think it may have taken out
something in my WM10 player.

I tried to remove the WM10 Player and install it again hoping that would
solve the problem, but Windows won't let you unistall ... you can only
upgrade. So, I upgraded and installed the new WM11 Player. It won't play
any sound EITHER. On top of that, I don't like the look of it, and want my
WM 10 Player back ... but it won't let me uninstall the WM 11.

I tried to reset and restore back to last evening and several points earlier
this morning, but my computer says it can't do that for some reason.

Can anyone help me get back to where I was ... happy and with sound? Thanks

Thanks so much! I successfully rolled back the player to Version 10. Along
the way, I was able to get the sound back on as well. With all the clicking
going on, the "mute" button somehow got pushed. Duh. But at least I got the
WM Player 10 back, so I really appreciate the link to the instructions.
