Does anyone know why my cd-r file type is raw? I created it using windows 2000 pro. I am now using Windows xp pro and now my cd-r says that there is 0 used space and 0 free space. is there anyway to get these files?
my cd-r always say that,, they never show available space. Even after I've written to them it will only show the size of the written file and the pie chart will read full.

that is a good point... have you tried updating firm ware for the drive. I had to do that to my newer drive before some programs would recognise it correctly.
