HELP with performance graphs PLEASE !!!

Hello,

PLS I NEED experienced help !!!

I have been having on-going issues with my comp where the disk starts
whirring every time I open a file/tab. Plus the system gets bogged down with
even a few programs running. To find out what's happening I created some
Performance graphs. From the little I have been able to find out I know that

1) if the av/min 'avail mem' counter remains >4 it shows enough memory
present.
2) av/max for 'pages/sec' should be LOW, mine are going WILD.
3) Max PF usage is quite low on my machine
4) %disk time show LOTS of paging being done

But I don't have a CLUE what to do !! The graphs I made are here. If someone
who UNDERSTANDS them could let me know the cause and the solution it would be
FANTASTIC.

THANKYOU VERY MUCH :)

Hi Mani:

Instead of creating performance graphs, leave Task Manager open at the
Processes tab and sort the processes in descending order of CPU usage.
When you experience your issue glance at Task Manager and find out what
processes are occupying most of the CPU's time.

Your first step, however, is a /thorough/ scan for malware.

Leonard,

I tried TM and apart from the programs running or being opened, System Idle
Process takes up above 90% CPU time.
The issue doesn't come and go, but is constant.
I've already tried several Anti-Virus,etc scans & HJT log is clean. I have
very few 3rd party programs installed, and nothing nasty. Oh and I
clean-booted before doing the graphs.

Can you tell me what the graphs show ???
Can anyone ??
Mani.
