HELP WANTED: e-mail from Microsoft with attachment.

like bill, I have received an e-mail "supposedly" from
Microsoft with a patch attached.
I have read several warnings advising people that
Microsoft DOESN'T sent anything via e-mail, not to open
any attachment as it could be a worm or virus...
What can I do. I cannot contact Microsoft, not via e-mail
nor via the phone....
Anyone can help?

System requirements Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT/XP

MS Outlook Express, version 4.01 and later
Recommendation Customers should install the patch at the
earliest opportunity.
How to install Run attached file. Choose Yes on displayed
dialog box.
