HELP - UPDATE DOESN'T CHANGE ANYTHING

when i checked the expiry date of the app it hadn't
changed, i downloaded and updated yesterday.

You downloaded a cached copy of the old app - clear your history and try
again or try another computer.

Uninstall Microsoft Antispyware & do a clean install of the new beta.
Download Antispyware from the Microsoft site. The new beta is dated 6-23-05.

I haven't downloaded a cached copy as i don't have one,
(it's cleared every time the browser is closed), and the
time i downloaded it previously was 2/3 months ago.

I tried a clean install, and it failed, i'm going to give
it another go though, just incase it was somthing else
that was happeniong on the pc that caused it.
