HELP: trying to backup to cdrom and access is denied

I have Windows XP home edition and have installed the
backup file. When I try to do a backup to a formatted
rewritable CD I am getting this error message:

Backup Status
Operation: Backup
Active backup destination: File
Media name: "October 16 Backup.bkf created 10/16/2003 at
10:49 PM"


Error returned while creating the volume shadow
copy:Access is denied.


Aborting Backup.

You cannot backup directly to the CD. Save the bkf file on the hard drive
and then burn that file to the CD.

Thanks for your response. I just tried to do a backup and
save to my desktop and got the same message:

What am I doing wrong?
