evilLIE

i'm trying to send a e-mail with pictures but as i click on send mail, a
window pop's up saying "a dailog box is open. close it and try again" so i
looked up what a dialog box is because i don't know too much about computers
and i learned it's what i reffered to as a "window" so i close the "window"
that just poped up with that message and see no other dialog boxes, as i go
to try to send again, the same thing i need to close a dialog box, there's no
other dialog box other than the one that keeps poping up when i try to send
the e-mail can someone please help?

Which version of Outlook are we talking about here?
Start Word; does it ask you to put in your name and initials?

it says microsoft office outlook 2003, i'll be honest with you this computer
was given to my mom by my uncle so i really don't know how to use microsoft i
just learned how to make a file and it doesn't give me any other choice but
to send it through microsoft, and by word i assume you mean microsoft word
but i dont see it

Start-> All Programs-> Microsoft Office-> Word
or
Start-> Run; winword.exe

My guess is that you've never started an Office application on that computer
before and entering your initials has become a "hidden" dialog. Starting
Word will prompt you to enter it.

i did what you told me to do but it didn't ask me for any thing it just has a
couple of tool bars "I guess that's what you would call them" on on the top
and bottom of the page and like a blank sheet of paper in the middle i'm sure
my uncle had used microsoft word when he had the computer but as for my mom
and i we have no idea how to use it

In Word choose Tools-> Options-> tab User Information. The top 2 fields are
filled in?

Did you always have this issue or were you able to send normally before?
What changed?
Does it work in Outlook Safe Mode?
Start-> Run; outlook.exe /safe

E

evilLIE

the top 2 fields are not filled in, i have never had to use this program
before so i don't know if it worked before, "windows cannot find
'outlook.exe/safe'

When you filled them in, does the error go away now?

As for the other error message;
You forgot to put in a space between outlook.exe and /safe

i tried filling them in and no it didn't go away, i did however get
outlook.exe /safe opened but i can't find the button to send

I am trying to delete e-mails that I tried to send that were too large - they

delete!!! What in heavens name do I have to do to get rid of
them???????????????

on the safe mode in the in box it has the message i wan't to send saying"the
file is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments" goes on
to list the pic's i want to send, but i don't see a send button, on the
unsafe mode if i leave my mouse on the name of whom i want to send the
message to a little gray button appears with the option to send but on the
safe mode that doesn't happen, and i don't see any other send button
