HELP! Transfering files to Excel

I need help on how to transfer a large spreadsheet from

Lotus 123 to Excel. thank you so much.

I tried to go to excel open a new document and all files I
went under d:drive to pull it up and when I clicked on the
lotus 123 spreadsheet it gave me an error message of can't
move or convert spreadsheet to excel. The spreadsheet I
want to move is in separate file in lotus 123 I want to
convert each of the spreadsheets into one database in
excel

If the 123 files are in .123 file format rather than .WK4 (or earlier) file
format, then there's nothing in Excel and *nothing* provided by Microsoft that
will work with .123 files. Your *only* options are opening the file in a recent
version of 123 and saving it as an .XLS file, opening the .123 file in Quattro
Pro 10 or 11 and saving as a .XLS file, using DataViz's ConverionPlus package to
convert the .123 file to a .XLS file.
