Ok, first a little preamble explaining some recent
computer usage that may have brought about my present
state of extreme irritability. I've been trying to
install Norton Systemworks on my compy for a day or so,
but it keeps giving me sass, possibly because the disk
(as has just been brought to my attention)is scratched
some. So, having installed and then uninstalled a couple
times with varying amounts of success, I've noticed
something that at first was a minor pain and is now a
glaringly brutal obsession. Everytime I go to start a
program or open up a folder (such as my control panel or
the like) a window box pops up with the heading "Run As"
and says "Which user account would you like to run this
program" and proceedes to offer me "current user" or "the
following user", where I can choose from a list of myself
of the adminstrator, which is also still me. This window
has never popped up before and is now omnipresent, I
can't shake it, and there's nothing that I can recall
doing in the setting and accessability options over the
last so many days that would incite this, any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration, both
of which are greatly appreciated.
