Help stop sending non existing email

My outbook is empty- yet everytime (almost everytime) I hit send recieve I
get "trying to send message 1 of 11" which NEVER go through (because they
dont exist!!)! This has been happening since I had trouble logging on at a
hospital a few months ago. How do I make this stop PLEASE!!!! HELP!!! I am
going crazy!! I tried going offline then restarting- I tried a system
restore- NOTHING!! Thanks in advance!

Sounds like stuck read receipts.

I am encountering a similar problem. Link to clear stuck read receipts does
not work.

I have found a work around, back up the pst file to a diffferent location,
then delete the original. Launch Outlook and create a new pst file, then
import everything back from the old pst file. Cures the problem temporarily,
but I have not isolated why it comes back.

Anyone with any ideas?
