Help, Service program is not active.

Hello,
When I try to run my Intel Desktop Utilities I get this error message
"Service program is not active." Anyone know what is going on?
I have a Intel D975XBX mobo, Intel Pentium D 940, 2 GB PC 5300 RAM, ATI 1600
Pro. My OS is Windows XP pro SP2. When I first got it running the Desktop
Utilities ran fine then it started giving me this error.
