help scandisk deleted my files

i started up my computer and it went through scan disk at startup and it deleted all my files on my secondary hard drive. It deleted "orphan file record segment" on my drive then erased my programs and files. Anyone ever heard of this happening? Any way to get my files back? I tried sys restore already. Thanks for any help.

Apparently your file tables become corrupted and your computer could no
longer link the file cluster together. This can be caused by an improper
shutdown or your hard drive is about ready to fail.
It would to recover the files at this point.

Only Data Recovery software can correct this on NTFS
drives. I suggest you stop using this drive until your
recover the data.

i tried a couple different ones and they didn't seem to find anything so I don't know what scandisk did but it's almost like it formatted it.
