Help recover "Contacts"

For whatever reason, my Inbox, Outbox & Sent Items were
corrupted, unable to receive emails and/or delete
existing emails, thus I moved the existing Outlook.pst &
Archive.pst files to a folder and let Outlook create "new
Personal Folders" upon start-up.

Is there a way I can recover my contacts from the old
Outlook.pst file?

If you now open the old file in Outlook, are the Contacts there?
