Help....recording

Q

qim

I have a Toshiba laptop with XP.

I need, urgently to record myself onto a CD.

I found in Accessories/Entertainment/Audio recorder

I have been able to start recording but it stops after 60 seconds and there
does not seem to be a way to make it record longer.

Can you help, please?

Try using another program, like RealPlayer, to record for
longer.

Thank you very much Doug for your help

I managed to record and copy the file to a new CD.

The problem now is that I have to post the CD to my teacher and I am not
sure if he can read the file. He read the last one which had a .WAV format

Could you tell me what I should tell him if he comes back saying he can't
red it?

I guess if I send him the address you gave me he can also download Media9
program. Will he then have all he needs to read the CD?

Sorry but I am in the middle of a nervous breakdown...

Even if Media Player 9 can't find what its looking for (content in the
What's Playing Now section), it should still work to play local content,
such as the file you created.
