Help???? Please somebody. Tape Backup

Frustrated

I have a 20/40GB seagate dat with tapes that were
formatted by backup exec. How can i get windows 2000 to
recognize and mount tape and backup data???????

Go to Removable Storage Manager - right click on the tape, prepare. Rinse,
lather, repeat.
