HELP - open NEW windows MAXIMIZED.

J

Jack McCarron

STILL having problem with Right Click/"Open in New Window"
in IE6 (under Win XP Home) Window opens small. Want it to
OPEN MAXIMIZED (not the same as "full screen"). I've had
several suggestions to drag the new window to max size and
then close it LAST - this procedure does NOT work.

Also, modifying a registry key (HKCU\
Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FullScreen
REG_SZ) to "yes" doesn't work either. That just causes IE
to open "full screen" - NOT the same as a "maximized"
window (the full screen does not show the menu item at the
top). Pressing F11 (full screen) in IE and then closing
the window will automatically change that registry key
from "no" to "yes", or vice versa.

What else can I do to make new windows open maximized?
Thanks, Jack.
