Help on removing program - KAZAA!

I want to remove Kazaa from the system due to abuse by the kids (their
Mother's traits? - just kidding). In attempting to do this through
"add/remove programs" in Control Panel, I get the message: "Error in
C:\Windows\System 32\cd_clint.dll - Missing entry ServiceRun.DLL". When I
attempt to just delete the "Kazaa" program file (I know, not recommended), I
am told "Cannot delete ***.exe - Access denied. Make sure the disk is not
full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use." (Don't
want to reveal the file to protect the kids.)

Would really appreciate help by posting or e-mail. I am afraid the system
is in jeopardy due to this abuse and really want to just get shut of it.

Make sure that Kazaa is turned off. Make sure that you
have the rights to remove the program (logon as the
person who loaded it). good luck

Just a couple of Ideas,

You didn't say what OS you're running But here's a couple of Ideas.

(1) try installing Kazaa AGAIN, and then see if it will uninstall from
add/remove programs.

If that doesn't work

(2) do the first part of above, and then try the uninstall from Safe mode.

If THAT doesn't work.

(3) look in your system tray, and make sure Kazaa is NOT running there.
run msconfig, and make sure there is no entries for Kazaa there. If there
is, Uncheck them and reboot. try Item #1

If running windows XP, do an ctrl/alt/del check under processes, and kill
anything related to KaZaa. Then try a uninstall example from above.

If any of the above works for you. when you're done, run a good spyware
catcher. May I recommend spybot search and destroy. Or Adaware 6.

KaZaa is Notorious for spyware such as the cd_clint.dll file you list above.

May I also add. when all is said and done, you might want to run regedit and
search for any/all entries of "KaZaa" (without the quotes of course) and
delete them.

Whats Ironic, and it makes me sceptical of this program, is that they
advertise for Alexa (known spyware) as well as webattack themselves being
well known perveyors of spyware.

You must be speaking of Kazaa and not Kazaa Lite. The genuine version
of Kazaa Lite contains no spyware.
