Help on "Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page" Error

All,
I couldnt solve the problem:

Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page:
"http://macs.gsg.mot.com:8080/web/general/fqboxconf.htm"
not run the FrontPage Server Extensions on this page:
"http://macs.gsg.mot.com:8080/web/general/mdqboxconf.htm"

The frontpage server is installed and the extensions
checked. I've tryed with MS Support but they couldnt solve
either. I scale this to you hoping you'll be able to find
a solution.
Any suggestion or solution will be more than welcomed.

I can't open either page.
I assume it's because you are trying to accees port 8080
on the server.
http://macs.gsg.mot.com:8080

the :8080 is specifying port 8080. The server won't
acknowledge a http:// request directed at port 8080
unless you have a specially configured server, or use
http-alt in the address. instead of http://
<quote>
port 8080 is used for:
8080 TCP http-alt HTTP Alternate (see port 80)
Brown Orifice, Generic backdoor, RemoConChubo,
Reverse WWW Tunnel Backdoor, RingZero
</quote>
