Hi everybody,
Help!
I have three NTFS partition and Win2kPro installed on partition C.
My NTFS partition D can not be accessed now. When try to chkdsk, I was told
the master file table of D is corrupted.
How can I recover it. Or how to backup MFT for each partition?

Regards!

Is that the only thing that the chkdsk output said? Also, why did you boot
into Recovery Console to run a chkdsk on a data drive? While booted into
your Win2k install, just go to start, run and type "chkdsk d: /f" and say
yes to allow it to dismount the volume.

In terms of recovering the MFT, it is possible but not very easy. You would
have to use our diskprobe tool and only if you have a good deep
understanding our NTFS file system structure. Instead, if chkdsk does not
correct the errors, I would HIGHLY recommend getting your data off the
partition, deleting and re-creating the partition as I would not trust my
data to that partition.

Now if we were talking about boot sector or master boot record corruption,
those can be much easier to overcome.
