hello
i have been having a few problems with my pc. the problem i think is down to
a virus or spyware but i am not sure. the problems i am having are,
1, all drives and folders in my computer dont have any names but if i go to
rename then the original names are there.
2, many shortcuts in the start menu have been renamed. notepad and windows
explorer have been renamed to S, others just have squares for there names. if
i copy the shortcuts to the desktop they show the correct name.
3, if i right click something rather than having open at the top of the menu
it now has 2 squares.
4, the run and log-of buttons in the start menu no longer work.
5, if i click start then all programs there is a new folder called
scadeMyPictures. this has shortcuts to computer management and other system
management tools.
6, a few times when i have tried to delete folders an error pops up with a
red X, next to it is says scademypuctures.
so far i have ran a full virus scan and ful system scanns using adaware,
spybot and spyware doctor.
does anyone have any ideas what this could be? any help is much appreciated.
thanks
dan
