Help needed for p4c800 dx

this is a regular dx not the e
the other day I had to do maintenance replace a case fan and regular
cleaning after reboot of computer the nic card was uninstalled , I tryed
reinstalling it with out anny success , and the system is unstable an reboot
on its own,I dont even see the choice of nic software on the installation
menu of the cd that can be seen on the same but diferent system , I tryed
installing asus update but the software says its not suported since it it
not being installed on an asus motherboard , I even tryed turning the bios
back to the oldest I have 1010 maybee someone already seen this proble or
could tell me where to find bios revision 1004 an try its original bios back
in it.

400 watts power supply

Do you have a spare "P4 ready" power supply ? Try another power supply
and see if the symptoms remain the same.

Many times, funny symptoms come from bad power. Flashing the BIOS while
the power is bad, is not a good idea.
