Help making dvd data disc please

I am trying to burn a dvd data dis that can be read on a dvd-rom
reader, I am using a emprex dvdrw drive and memorex dvd+r discs, I
have tried nero 6 and easy cd creator 6, and both burns were succesful
but unreradable in a dvd reader. what am I doing wrong. TIA

I'm not sure if this list contains DVD-ROMs, of if it is just standalone
units, but you might try searching for your (unspecified) reader:

I know that DVD+R is generally less supported than DVD-R, so that might be a
problem. At any rate, you might be able to find some answers at the
