I bought a new machine that has XP home edition installed.
I want to use the machine to learn some things like web
design and such without screwing around with my desktop
computer. I want to install this trail version of Windows
2000 Server over the XP, but the CD says the CD-ROM is
from an older version of Windows than the one I am
presently using, and I can't go any further. Microsoft
offers a solution for folks who have 2000 and want to
install XP, but not the other way round.
Okay, so I understand that XP was unknown when this CD was
created, but there has to be a way around the problem.
Help me, please....
