Help! IE Won't accept cookies.

Hello,

I am using IE 6.0 and trying to get to my bank site I get this error:

"We are unable to sign you into your accounts because your browser is
not set to accept cookies. Please enable cookies by going to your
browser preferences."

I did set the browser to allow cookies - all other sites seem to work.
I turned off the firewall - same problem.

When I try Netscape it works fine. I can get on to other secure sites
- like Ebay, Paypal that sort of stuff. I can log into Yahoo mail -
those all use cookies- right?

I am logged in as the administrator. I tried setting the cookies
preference to accept all - overriding the original settings.

Any suggestions?

Could the browser be corrupt? Any idea how to fix this?

Thanking you!

Go to Tools, Internet Options, Privacy tab, Edit button.
In the space provided type in (or copy and paste) the URL
in the address bar for the site you wish to access. Eg.
thissite.com and click the Allow button, OK and then
Apply.

I tried that already - but no success - it still comes up with the same error.

But thanks for trying!

Any other suggestions as to why a browser would do this?
