Help - IE hijacked by LOP!

[I hate LOP!]

My IE browser is being continiually hijacked by LOP
spyware.

I have run the beta over and over again, but the malware
remains. Pop-ups galore.

LOP is associated with casalemedia.com, oversee.net, and
revenue.net. I have contacted these organizations asking
for instructions to remove the software. All have refused.

(1) Does anyone know how to get rid of the LOP browser
hijack?

(2) How do I make a formal complaint about these
organizations to some sort of governing authourity? Who
do I contact?

Get HijackThis from

http://tomcoyote.org/hjt/hjt199//HijackThis.exe

and let it Scan your system and Save Log. (Save it where
you can find it again.) then send the log to:

Ron Kinner
(e-mail address removed)

He will tell you what to do next. Put Hijack in the
subject so he will know it's not spam.

Head to their website and get the LOP uninstaller from
them. The remover is clean, but several scanners still
pick it up falsly as a virus. So I would disable any
scanner you have running.

Also do a full system scan in safe mode and do a full system scan.

Submit suspected spyware report in the tools menu of Antispyware

 

[I Hate LOP!]

Their "universal uninstaller" has serveral issues:

(1) It won't install (biggest problem to me).
(2) Any anti-virus software, not just name brand CORRECTLY
IDs it with a virus signature. LOP insists that they are
not installing something even worse, but they certainly
are (according to various newsgroups).

These guys are liars, uncooperative and gernerall bad
news. I am looking into how to pursue this legally.
