Help, how do I tell UDMA-5 on P4P800's VIA RAID controller in WinXP?

Hi all,

I've recently moved all my HDDs to the VIA RAID controller so that I could
use the Intel IDE controllers to drive my optical drives (DVD, DVD-RW &
CD-RW). All seems to working, however, how do I make sure the VIA RAID is
in UDMA-5 mode in WindowsXP. The Intel controllers have a drop down in the
device manager that allows you to control the mode, but the VIA RAID
controller does not.

Thanks,
William

If you are using VIA you should have an icon in the lower right part
of the screen. Click on it and it will tell you what UDMA you are
running at. In my case UDMA 5 as that is my HD's max.

Mine are UDMA6.

AIDA32 erroneously reports this data (at least in the last version I
downloaded).
