Help! Freeeing up Disk Space Deleted Program

It seems I am continually running out of disk space on C. It seems that the
system is not recognizing some of the program files removed, they are showing
up even though they have been deleted. I may have deleted the files relating
to the program without using the uninstall function. And now when I use the
remove programs function they show up and when I try to remove them the
system comes back with a message saying it can't find the uninstall files.

...Is the system still thinking that program is there?
...Can I correct this situation?

Hi,

You've tried to uninstall from Control Panel -> Add Remove Programs right ?

Open Run -> regedit.exe
Go under the
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall key
and find subkey includes DisplayName entry with name of your program to
delete. When you'll find it, delete subkey.

PS. suggest to uninstalling application by Control Panel and after that
checking and deleting files which was remined
